Business Ethics
At Total, our strict adherence to the core values of respect, responsibility and exemplary conduct enables us to build healthy, long-term relationships with our stakeholders, based on mutual trust. We also believe that a robust ethics process drives sustainable, responsible growth.
In Jordan, as in any other country where the Group operates, we conduct our business in line with the values and principles set out in our Code of Conduct. It provides a common reference document concerning business principles and rules of individual behavior for all employees.
Total Jordan’s Ethics Committee
Maintaining honesty and integrity in all our business dealings entails that any complaints are dealt with immediately and with the utmost consideration to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
All customer complaints are handled by Total Jordan’s Ethics Committee, which consists of three staff members, chaired by an Ethics Officer who reports directly to the Managing Director. 
  • The Ethics Committee successfully manages all issues of moral concern between Total Jordan’s Management and its employees, and is the official mediator between the subsidiary and Total Group’s Ethics Committee. 
  • With complete confidentiality, the Ethics Committee listens and provides advice to the employees on any issues regarding Total’s Code of Conduct. 
  • Reports on the implementation of the Ethics policy at the local level.
